We were very fortunate to find Ann and Dom to look after our home, garden, dogs and chickens during our recent 4-week holiday in Europe. We have two 2-1/2 year old Groodles (Golden Retriever/Standard Poodle Cross), four chooks and an acre of garden. Ann and Dom arrived the evening before we left so that gave us time to show them around the property and also for them to get to know the dogs before we left. They kindly took us to the local railway station on the day we left and we also left our car with Ann and Dom to make it easier for them to take our dogs to the local park, which they did regularly. They kept the garden well-watered and also mowed the lawn when the gardener I had organised failed to turn up. They ensured the chickens were well fed and collected our mail from the local post office. They left the house in perfect condition and they even washed and dried their bed linen and towels prior to their departure and made up the bed. We feel very lucky to have found such a responsible and caring couple to look after our home and pets and to come home to a clean house and happy animals.
